Top Five Web Comics

Thanks to the internet, we’ve been introduced to a new age of comics. While many people enjoy published comics, web comics offer more diverse stories in both characters and genre. Want a good start on some good reading? Here’s my top five in no particular order.

Monster Pulse: Someone is creating monsters out of body parts and its chaos! Bina Blum is walking home one day when she encounters some strange, ghostlike creature. As soon as interacts with it, her heart pops out of her body and becomes a monster! Filled with mystery, action, humor and a whole lot of heart (see what I did there?), Monster Pulse is one enjoyable read!

Princess LovePon: Who doesn’t love a magical girl? This extremely pink webcomic tells the tale of girl named Lia who ends up with the power to heal hearts. With her magical companion Hunnie by her side, can they defeat the Dark Queen who poisons pure hearts?

Nemu Nemu: Cute artwork? Check! Fun characters? Check! Enjoyable adventures? Check! It’s all here with Nemu Nemu! Featuring two adorable stuffed dogs that come to life, this adorable comic is just filled with fun and cuteness. Perfect for those who are fans of Calvin and Hobbes or the Peanuts.
