Another AMC original series that hits it out of the park! Preacher could be your new favorite binge watch. Set in the fictional small Texas town of Annville, Jesse Custard (Dominic Cooper) after reforming from his criminal past, becomes a preacher at a small church inherited from his father.
His congregation bombards him with small town drama at every moment. He is only aided by his hard drinking, fast driving companions Tulip O’Hara (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).
Originally a comic book series , Preacher keeps a comic book style through developers Sam Catlin , Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. The show manages to balance dark humor, suspense, drama, and gore in each episode. It hooks you in for that “ok just one more episode” feeling every time.
Now streaming on Hulu. Season 2 starts June 25, and comes on Mondays at 9pm EDT on AMC.
