Doodle God Game Review

Doodle God, Developed by JoyBits LTD, is a 2010 logic and puzzle game. It was originally developed for mobile devices and now as a flash browser game for PC.

The premise is simple. Take the basic nature elements and combine them to the world we know it today, including even to completely abstract ideas like religion and aliens. The elements categorize themselves into whole groups to make going through all eventual 200+ a little easier. Each element comes with a quote and easily identifiable icon. Though the game play is simple , the thought process behind it is not. The player must dig deep into their knowledge of history and society to come up with the answers, even with the hint feature available every few minutes with no kind of penalty. What two single things can you combine to get money? Sin? Cats?!

This game firmly has a top ranking spot for any mobile puzzle players out there. The game can take hours to complete because of the sheer number of combinations and any given points, and that certain things can only be unlocked in a specific order . If you get burnt out on that there are quests and achievements.

Which is great for a few minutes of distraction, but it didn’t really play like something you could dig into for a whole night or so for PC. Doodle God is aesthetically pleasing and the elements make a triumphant and satisfying sound effect when combined, but it feels like there's a lot of time spent just clicking random elements and getting nothing or using hints to get to the next tier which isn’t nearly as gratifying. But for a mobile platform , Doodle God could easily become your newest addiction.
